Introducing the work of BabesGotBytes - Cape Town

In the last session of this T3OD21 event day, we introduce you a very inspiring project:
“BabesGotBytes” from Cape Town, South Africa. In the world video premiere about this project we get an insight into their encouraging work.
The founders Amanda Gxagxa, Lihle Menzeleleli and Phindiwe Nqanqaru show us how they empower girls and women to learn to code and to continue their education in web development, data science and AI in workshops and hackathons.
The “BabesGotBytes” are a non-profit organization whose focus is Women In Tech and has been supported by the TYPO3 Association since 2019. The aim is to be one of the leading female tech organizations in South Africa.
After the video premiere we will switch LIVE to Cape Town and Olivier Dobberkau will talk to the founders about this outstanding initiative.
