Best Practice: Updating a complex web site of a major city

The city of Pforzheim is using TYPO3 since version 4.1. Over the course of 11 years, the web sites have been using six different TYPO3 versions and three designs. For the upgrade from TYPO3 version 8 to 10 we have used a new workflow which allowed a smooth transition without down times.

In the talk we show how we planned, implemented and executed the update of 16 web sites in one TYPO3 installation.
